Belinda’s love for yoga started over a decade ago when her mother bought her a yoga DVD to practice with at home to combat the stress of school exam. Yoga wasn’t mainstream at the time but that didn’t deter her from further inquiry. She was instantly inspired and found a sense of grounding every time she set foot on the mat. What started out as a physical practice turned into much more, the depth and history drew her in.
Having trained in Hatha Yoga with Yogi Hari at his ashram in Florida (200HR Teacher Training) and Yin Yoga with Jo Phee, her classes blend the sense of connection to the body through a mindful heartfelt practice. She continues to draw inspiration for her teaching from her willingness to continually learn more along with her love of being outdoors in nature.
Belinda believes that the practice of yoga (not just through asana) can lead to wonderful transformations on all levels. The practice not only helps general wellbeing, it helps you believe in yourself, your instinct and allows the light to shine from within.
Her teaching is compassionate, understanding and straight from the heart. With an aim for clients to leave each session feeling more centered and able to tackle whatever life throws their way.
