Our Adult Ballet classes are tailored to the group, but are generally a beginner level. You can join the class on a casual basis, or come regularly every week.
The Adult Ballet classes are run by our studio owner, Andrea. Andrea’s dance background started with 15 years training in the Vagonova method of classical ballet, which she began at the age of 3. In her late teens she was invited to tour Europe, visiting and dancing at the Vagonova Ballet Academy in Russia, The Hamburg and Munich Ballet schools in Germany and competing at the prestigious Prix de Lausanne International Ballet Competition, where she was a quarter finalist. Although Andrea always wanted to be a ballerina, she grew too tall for ballet, so as an alternative, discovered the wonderful world of cabaret and commercial dance and enjoyed great success in this genre of dance. Andrea danced professionally for 12 years locally and internationally, including at the world famous Moulin Rouge in Paris, Son Amar in Spain and with Carnival Cruises in the USA. Back home in Australia, through her agent, Grayboy Entertainment, Andrea danced with the Sydney Showboat, Australian Idol, The Aria Awards, and in numerous corporate events and film clips.
